Tewkesbury History Festival FAQs

Below are answers to the most popular questions. If you need additional information, please use the contact form to get in touch and we will respond as quickly as we are able.

How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets are available online at www.tewkesburyhistoryfestival.co.uk

If you do not have access to online booking facilities, you can buy tickets in person from Tewkesbury Visitor Information and Heritage Centre at 100 Church Street, Tewkesbury.

Opening hours: Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm

Can I select specific seats when booking?

No, all events are offered with unreserved seating.

Do you offer concession / group tickets?

Unfortunately, as this is our first festival, we are not able to offer concessions or group discounts. We hope to be able to do this in future years.

Do you have a waiting list for sold out events?

No, but please check back on our website. Any additional tickets will be made available here.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are sold on a non-refundable basis.

If an event is sold out, we will try to sell any unwanted tickets on your behalf. Please let us know no later than 9.00am on Monday 15th June 2026 by contacting us through the contact form on our website if you have unwanted tickets for sold out events. If we are able to resell your ticket, we will refund the face value of the ticket less the booking fee.

We are only able to accept returned tickets for SOLD OUT events.

What happens if an event is cancelled?

If we need to cancel an event for reasons beyond our control, we will do our best to let ticket holders know as soon as possible and the cost of the tickets will be refunded.

Where can I park?

Please see the extra information on our venues page.

Can I stay in my seat if I have booked tickets for consecutive events?

Unfortunately, ticket holders cannot remain in the hall in this instance as we will need to clean the hall and check all tickets at the start of each event. There is a vestibule where you can wait while this takes place.

Will there be book signings?

Many of our speakers will be available after their talks for book signings and copies of the speakers’ books will be available to purchase and have signed.

Can I bring my dog to the event

Only assistance dogs will be allowed in the event.
