Getting to Tewkesbury
Tewkesbury is located in the historic county of Gloucestershire. The major cities of Birmingham and Bristol are both less than 50 miles away, with main local towns of Gloucester 12 miles, and Cheltenham 9 miles to the south.
Junction 9 of the M5 motorway 2 miles to the east of the town and junction 1 of the M50 motorway taking you into Wales, located 3 miles north.

Travelling by Train
Ashchurch for Tewkesbury train station is located just over 2 miles east of the town centre.

All of the events during the Tewkesbury History Festival will be taking place in the historic town centre.
Most of the talks will be in the George Watson Hall in Barton Street, next door to Tewkesbury Museum.
